3D model of Paint Line using Navis works

The Project Team installing a state of the art steel strip paint processing line needed to visualise whole line. PEA used NavisWorks to assemble several models from different suppliers from across the world into one model which allowed Engineers to discuss line layout issues with Operators before the site work was started.

The NavisWorks model also located many equipment clashed which were eliminated at the design stage saving the project expensive on site rework costs. Using the free NavisFreedom Viewer, anyone on the project to “walk through” the process line on their PC before the equipment arrived. A great communication tool
